Bushrat and Kiddie Olympics

I ate bushrat. It was by choice, and it was delicious. It tasted like steak. This is David showing off the bushrat paw he got in his foufou sauce.

Anywho, it's taking a while to get posts up on my blog, and that's because of the pictures. I feel like I have to upload pictures every blog post because I can't print them out and mail them to people back home. And there's lots of good moments captured via photo. However, the internet here is too slow for that. I have to dedicate at least an hour to stay on the internet to upload a couple photos for each post. So, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to keep that up.

A couple weekends back we did Kiddie Olympics here. It was all thanks to Gracie, she did so much planning. And it turned out spectacularly well; there were probably like a hundred kids there. And this is a village of about 3,000-4,000 people.

My host sister is still asking when we're gonna do the next one.
